Rescue Dog of the Week: Barrett the Bulldog

Meet Barrett, an active bulldog looking for his forever home.

Barrett is a young active American bulldog or Alapaha Blue Blood bulldog who is just a goofball of a puppy. He loves to play with toys and would make a great jogging and/or hiking companion. He's a calm boy with gentle spirit. Barrett is deaf but he doesn't let that slow him down. Because he's deaf, he does get startled if he's asleep and someone touches him. Because of that, it's recommended that a home with children who are at least 10 years old would make the best placement.  Barrett is in need of a loving foster home, or even better, a forever home.

Ace of Hearts is a 501c-3 dog rescue foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs—the day they are to be euthanized—from various Los Angeles shelters and placing them in loving homes. It does not take dogs in. It rescues only from shelters. Its adoption days are normally held every Saturday at the West Hollywood Pet Co. at 508 N. Doheny Drive from 1-4 p.m. Click here for information on how to adopt a rescue dog from Ace of Hearts.
