Volunteers Donate $93,000 to New Children's Library

The Friends of the Beverly Hills Public Library presented City Council with a check Thursday.

City Council accepted a check for $93,000 from the Friends of the Beverly Hills Public Library at Thursday's study session. The money will be used to enhance the Children’s Library, which is undergoing renovations.

The Friends' group of volunteers run a used book shop inside the city's public library. Funds from books sold go towards the library and its programs. For more information about the Friends of the Beverly Hills Public Library, click here.
