Liaison Committee Meets Wednesday to Discuss Roxbury Park Community Center

The city has yet to decide if the facility will be torn down and rebuilt or renovated.

The public is invited to attend the latest Recreation and Parks Commission Liaison Committee meeting regarding the  project, being held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Conference Room B of City Hall.

The City Council held a meeting in late January during which residents were spilt over whether to tear down the facility and rebuild it or renovate the existing structure.

"I have heard you loud and clear," Councilwoman Lili Bosse said at the January meeting. "I think we all agree that Roxbury needs upgrading. I think the issue, as someone said earlier, is to what degree?"
