July Designated 'Parks and Recreation' Month
The City Council urges residents to get outdoors this summer.
At Thursday's City Council meeting, Mayor Jimmy Delshad and Councilman Dr. William Brien presented Jill Tavelman Collins, chairwoman of the Recreation and Parks Commission, and Steve Zoet, assistant director of community services, with a certificate recognizing July as "Parks and Recreation Month."
