Suspect in Triple Homicide in Possession of Pounds of Marijuana

Police believe the pot found with Harold Yong Park may have been taken from the apartment in which a BHHS graduate was among three men found dead.

A suspect was arrested Monday in connection with last week's triple homicide that claimed the life of a Beverly Hills High School graduate, according to wire reports.

Harold Yong Park, 31, of East Hollywood, was arrested without incident around 11 a.m. Monday after a traffic stop in Lomita, according to statements made by Lt. Pat Nelson of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau. Park's vehicle was located by a patrol car equipped with license plate recognition technology, Nelson said.

Park was in possession of multiple pounds of marijuana, and investigators believe the marijuana may have been taken from the West Hollywood apartment where 27-year-old Bernard Khalili—a BHHS class of 2001 graduate—was found shot to death along with brothers Pirooz Moussazadeh, 27, and Shahriar Moussazadeh, 38, according to Nelson.

The three men were killed about 9:15 p.m. Thursday at the Kings Arms apartments on the 600 block of North Kings Road near Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, media outlets have reported. The Moussazadeh brothers lived together in the apartment where the killings took place, according to wire reports.

The Los Angeles Times has reported that robbery was the motive for the slayings.

Khalili's MySpace page lists his profile name as **GoT kUsH**, a reference to a particular strain of marijuana. The page's creator is referred to as both Bernard and Berny in wall posts. The profile was last updated in August 2005. A MySpace search under "Bernard Khalili" links to the profile, which lists the user as a 27-year-old male from Beverly Hills.
