BHPD Commemorates Outstanding Officers

A new plaque at department headquarters honors "Patrol Officer of the Quarter/Year" recipients.

The Beverly Hills Police Department has unveiled a new plaque to honor outstanding members of the force.

The "Patrol Officer of the Quarter/Year" award goes out to individuals selected by their peers for extraordinary service to the department. The officers selected will receive a medal for their uniform and have their names inscribed on the new plaque at police headquarters.

Former Mayor Les Bronte and Planning Commission Vice Chair played significant roles in helping to memorialize the recognized officers.

"It was a pleasure for me to contribute toward the creation of this plaque that recognizes the outstanding work and contributions of our fine officers, so many of whom are friends," Rosenstein told Patch. "I'm happy to help and support them in any way I can."
