BHPD Catches Suspects After Early Morning Chase

After a short vehicle pursuit Thursday, K-9 units are called to the scene.

The Beverly Hills Police Department apprehended two suspects early Thursday after receiving a call about suspicious persons on the 400 block of North Palm Drive.

The call came in at 1:15 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene, the suspects fled the location in a car, resulting in a short vehicle pursuit. The suspects abandoned their car on the 200 block of South Arnaz Drive and ran from pursing officers.

The passenger was quickly captured and a perimeter was set up to apprehend the driver. A search was conducted in the area of Charleville Boulevard and South Arnaz Drive. At about 6 a.m. the second suspect was located by the BHPD K-9 team hiding in a backyard within the perimeter.
