Wind Advisory Issued for Beverly Hills

The alert lasts from 3 a.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Beverly Hills and surrounding communities from 3 a.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday.

A wind advisory means that winds of 35 mph or greater are expected, which may cause tree limbs to break and may displace unsecured objects. Such winds can also make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles like SUVs, vans and pickup trucks. Use extra caution when taking to the road.

The winds will be strongest on Friday and Saturday mornings, with the possibility of gusts reaching 50 mph.
