Wind Advisory in Effect Until 6PM Friday

Winds between 20-30 m.p.h. with gusts of 45 m.p.h. are expected.

The Santa Ana winds are blowing through the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from the Los Angeles County coastline inward to downtown L.A.

The winds hitting the area are expected to be between 20-30 m.p.h. with gusts reaching 45 m.p.h.

Strong winds can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles (SUVs, vans, pickup trucks, etc.). Major roadways that could be affected by the gusty winds include the 101 freeway.

It has been pretty windy the last couple of nights. I hope the winds this year are not as bad as last year.
