MONDAY

Then came two scoops on the trial surrounding the stabbing death of Katsutoshi Tony Takazato. We covered Scott Joseph Barker's arraignment, where the 23-year-old suspect pleaded not guilty to murder.

Last up was our weekly Beverly Hills Farmers' Market column. David De Bacco filled us in on which vendor carries fresh goji berries.

TUESDAY

Tuesday began with a slideshow of Destination Science Camp at El Rodeo School, where kids learn about .

Next came a post about the BHPD's High Tech Crimes Unit, which utilizes digital evidence to solve crimes.

Last up was a resident spotlight featuring Annette Saleh, president of the Beverly Hills Education Foundation.

WEDNESDAY

The day started with a video about Page to Stage Performers, a performing arts company for youth founded by Beverly Hills resident Barbara Heller.

Next was BHPatch's newest column, the Green Files. Ellen Lutwak gives readers tips on ways to live an environmentally friendly life in Beverly Hills.

The day ended with coverage of the Recreation and Parks Commission meeting. The panel discussed .

THURSDAY

The first post of the day was a standout student profile piece featuring Daniel Shofet, BHPatch's teen columnist.

That was followed with a resident spotlight featuring Jason Newman, a BHHS physical education teacher and the school's assistant athletic director.

Lastly we brought you a police blotter that reminded us to close the sunroofs on our cars before turning off the ignition.

FRIDAY

Friday's first story was about the passage of a City Council resolution condemning the practice of stoning in Iran.

Then came a business brief on Larry King's latest gig promoting a Brooklyn bagel shop in Beverly Hills.

The day ended with Daniel Shofet's newly named teen column, Native Son 90210. This week he gave us the lowdown on applying for college.

SATURDAY

The weekend began with a video post on Thursday's free concert at Beverly Canon Gardens. Be sure to check out these shows taking place all summer long.

Next we brought you a resident spotlight featuring Sue Brucker, president of Temple Emanuel's board of directors and wife of City Councilman Barry Brucker.

The week ended with a slideshow of Creative Space at El Rodeo School, a summer camp that offers youth a chance to learn cool dance moves, create art, make movies and more.
