'Forbes' Shines Spotlight on Beverly Hilton

The magazine reports on the hotel's storied history and celebrity appeal.

The  is known worldwide for hosting VIPs, red carpet events and award shows. Now Forbes Magazine has chimed in by featuring the hotel in its Travel Guide section as one of the "most outstanding places" to stay.

The publication reports:

The mid-century modern architecture and iconic red-lettered logo give the hotel a retro vibe, but the interiors are updated with a contemporary look—the lobby is polished marble, and guest rooms have modern amenities such as Bose radio systems, bathrooms with LCD flat-screen TVs and balconies with views of Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Hills and Century City (the latter is stunning at sunset).

The article also notes how great the area surrounding the hotel is—four blocks from Rodeo Drive, across the street from  and situated at the entryway to downtown Beverly Hills.
