Same Time, Same Place for Next Year's Oscars
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences dispels rumors about the 2012 Oscars.
The Beverly Hills-based announced today that the 2012 Oscars will again be held in late February despite rumors that the ceremony may be held earlier.
The 84th Academy Awards is scheduled for Feb. 26 at the Kodak Theatre and will again be televised live on ABC. A 90-minute red-carpet show is to precede the ceremony.
Oscar nominations are slated to be announced Jan. 24, the annual Nominees
Luncheon will be held Feb. 6 and the scientific and technical awards ceremony
will be held Feb. 11.
