Billy Bob Thornton Sells Beverly Hills Estate for $8M

The deal closes for almost $2 million less than the actor's original asking price.

Billy Bob Thornton has sold the Beverly Hills mansion he once shared with ex-wife Angelina Jolie for $8 million, according to the Los Angeles Times

That's almost $2 million less than the $9.995 million the property was listed for when it went on the market in October 2012.

Thornton and Jolie—both Oscar winners—purchased the home from Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash in 2000 for $3.75 million, the Times previously reported. The couple was married from 2000 to 2003. Jolie eventually moved out, but Thornton kept the property.
