Melissa Roos, Neighbor

Melissa Roos is a senior in college, working towards a degree in public relations, marketing- basically, any type of communication she can get her hands on. She came to work for Patch because of the community aspect, and the opportunity to share the news from a place she knows and loves.She currently wears many hats: a customer service supervisor in a retail sporting goods store, an entertainment and pop culture blogger, and a public relations and marketing intern. Yeah, she's a little tired, but she's loving it all so it's not an issue.

Beyond the job scene, she's a: lover of social media, avid reader (if you really try, you can force her to admit her love of chick-lit), and traveler. She's extremely focused on friends and family, her live in boyfriend and her cat.
