Liz Laing is a freelance writer, web designer and photographer. She's written for both local and national publications, including Valley Life, US Airways and Alaska Airlines magazines. After taking journalism classes at UCLA (awhile back), she had immediate success with a feature published in Mothering magazine. Most recently, she's been blogging about the "Best of L.A." for CBS Los Angeles.com. Liz is a single mother of four beautiful kids and continues writing about travel, family and anything else that interests her!
