Students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades can choose from electives including Spanish, French, instrumental music, debate, science lab, computers, technology and video production.
Horace Mann received the California Distinguished School award in 1987, 1997, 2004 and 2008.
In April 2010, the Beverly Hills School Board elected Steve Kessler as the new principal of Horace Mann. Dana Findley is the vice principal.
