This Restaurant Row eatery presents guests with the opportunity to cook their own food in the tradition of Japanese yakiniku barbecue. The menu features prepared appetizers, soups, and salads to start, but the main event is the raw cuts of meat and veggies that diners cook over their own tabletop grills. Beef is most abundant meat on the menu, with filet mignon, short ribs, chuck, rib eye, tongue and even intestine available to choose from. Shrimp, scallops, salmon, ahi and Chilean sea bass are offered for seafood, while chicken, pork and a variety of vegetables round out the grill-ready menu selections. Pre-set multi-course meals can be ordered for two to six people. Happy hour runs during lunch and dinner, with specials on food and drinks from the full bar, which boasts liquor, beer, wine and a selection of sake. Up to 100 people can be accommodated for private parties, and reservations are accepted by phone or online.
