<p>Darioush Restaurant is located on La Cienega Boulevard's famed Restaurant Row. Chef and owner Darioush Danesh comes from Iran via London, where he worked at the upscale <a href="http://www.belvedererestaurant.co.uk/">Belvedere</a> restaurant, after which he came to Los Angeles on holiday and decided that this was where he wanted to be. Two years later, Darioush Restaurant was born.</p> <p>The cuisine is French-inspired while paying homage to Danesh's Persian roots, with typical dishes including king salmon that is cooked in parchment and seasoned with saffron-lime butter. The menu is inspired by produce from the farmers market, grass-fed meats and organic free-range game, while the wine list includes many selections from California and France. The dining room is intimate with dark wood tones, oil paintings and soft lighting, and there is a small outdoor patio for dining al fresco.</p>
