Monday Essentials: 'Timeless Scents' at The Wallis, Neighborhood Watch Meeting

Here are five things to know for the week ahead in Beverly Hills.

1. Just in time for the holiday season, the Beverly Hills Police Department will present a Neighborhood Watch for teens, adults and seniors on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at First Bank, 9145 Wilshire Boulevard. The program is called "How to Avoid Being Scammed." Click here for more information.

2. The Planning Commission meets at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at City Hall. Click here for more information.

3. "Timeless Scents: 1370-2013" a history of iconic fragrances through the ages will be the first public exhibition held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (The Wallis) through Dec. 22. Click here for more information.

4. The Beverly Hills Great Books Discussion Group meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the library meeting room. This week's discussion is Gay Science. Click here for more information.
