Rescue Dog of the Week: Laurel the Pit Bull/American Bulldog Mix

Fans of this loving pooch rallied to rescue her from being euthanized.

Laurel is a 4-year-old pit bull/American bulldog mix. This sweet pup was found as a stray and taken to an animal shelter where she quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite. Because of overcrowding, she was due to be euthanized, but a group of her fans rallied and got her out in time. Laurel is extremely playful and loving. She likes nothing better than playing ball or snuggling with you on the couch. This pooch loves people and gets along with most dogs, and she passed her temperament tests at the shelter with flying colors. We would love to find her a home with an active lifestyle and a human companion who can give her the affection and attention she deserves. Laurel is approximately 50 pounds, has had all her shots, is spayed and micro-chipped. She's ready to go home with you!
