Rescue Dog of the Week: Laurel the American Bulldog/Terrier Mix

This cute canine is very playful and also loves to snuggle.

Laurel is a beautiful and sweet 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier/American bulldog mix. She weighs approximately 50 pounds, has had all her shots, is spayed and micro-chipped.

This affectionate, athletic pooch was found as a stray and taken to an animal shelter where she soon became a favorite of staff members and volunteers favorite. Due to over-crowding, Laurel was scheduled to be euthanized, but a group of her fans stepped up and got her out just in time.

Laurel is a very playful and loving dog. She loves to play ball or snuggle with her favorite humans on the couch. Very people-friendly, she gets along with most dogs and is in need of a home with an active life-style that can provide her with the affection and attention she deserves.
