Earth Day in City of Beverly Hills

On Sunday, April 10,2011 from 9am-1pm the City of Beverly Hills Public Works Department will celebrate Earth Day, at the Beverly Hills Farmers' Market, Civic Center Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210. Earth Day encourages citizens to "live lightly" on planet earth. Join us on April 10 to observe the 41st national anniversary of Earth Day Celebration. View the displays about water conservation , energy efficiency, recycling and be a part of the dialogue that is transforming our planet! You can also bring your outdated paper documents and your old electronics's to the free document shredding and electronic wast collection. Plus: Energy Conservation Booths, Mobile Earthquake simulator, Appliance Rebate Information, Free Compost, and battery drop-off center and all the great vendors of Beverly Hills Farmers Market. There is something for all ages, including:
