Get Ready to Ride!! Beverly Hills Bike Week is May 16-20, 2011.  In preparation, A FREE Bicycle Safety Workshop will be held on Thursday, May 12, from 6pm-8pm at the Roxbury Community Center (471 S. Roxbury Drive, Beverly Hills, 90212). The Workshop is sponsored by the City of Beverly Hills and Sustainable Streets Project California a non-profit organization.   Sustainable Streets promotes sustainable, active transportation for more livable communities. This FREE Bicycle Safety Workshop is taught by Ron Durgin, a League of American Bicyclists certified Cycling Instructor.  The participants will learn about Helmet Safety and Fit, Weather Preparedness, Route Planning, Night Riding, Flat Tire Repair, Lane Positioning, and more.  This Workshop is ideal for cyclists of all skill levels.
