What's Up: 9/11 Ceremony and Concert

Here are five things to know in Beverly Hills today.

1. The Beverly Hills Fire Department holds a 9/11 memorial concert at the fire headquarters near the memorial garden beginning at 7 p.m.  There will be a wreath laying ceremony at its 9/11 Memorial Garden at the corner of Rexford Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard  followed by a concert by the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic Orchestra. Iowa and at Dodger Stadium, to mark the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Where were you on that day?

2. Enjoy a pleasant morning Tree Walk with TreePeople and Walk Beverly Hills on Sun., Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. learn to identify trees in the city. Click here for more information.

3. The Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, nearby at 300 Doheny Drive, is starting a food truck tour with its other locations around the country, beginning Sept. 16, according to the New York Times.

4. The Charitable Solicitations Committee meets at 9:30 a.m. at City Hall. Click here for more information.

5. The Beverly Hills Police Department seeks interested volunteers for its neighborhood watch program. You could become a block captain and sign up to host meetings in your neighborhood. Click here for more information.
