On Tap: Cheese Tasting, Vote by Mail Ballot Requests Due

Here are five things to know in Beverly Hills today.

1. The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean Logan reminds L.A. County voters to request a Vote by Mail ballot by Tuesday, Oct. 29 for the Nov. 5, 2013 local and municipal consolidated elections. Click here for more information.

2. Are you a fan of cheese? The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills is celebrating the third annual American Cheese Month with an in-store appearance by Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, the makers of Beekman 1802 Blaak goat/cow blend cheese, who star in “The Fabulous Beekman Boys” on The Cooking Channel. 3. This November, the City of Beverly Hills Community Emergency Response Team
(CERT) will offer free classes to help businesses prepare for major disasters. Click here for more information.
