Monday Essentials: Planning Meeting Canceled, Candidate Forum, MomFair

1. The Planning Commission meeting scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Beverly Hills City Hall has been canceled.

3. There's a networking conference called MomFair in Culver City Thursday morning for mothers re-entering the workforce. It includes several guest speakers, workshops and more. Click here for more information.

4. The soon-to-open Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is holding a campaign for residents to post about the old Beverly Hills Post Office. The Wallis welcomes recollections of life-changing correspondence that arrived by mail, memories of shipping or receiving holiday packages, photographs and even celebrity encounters (Fred Astaire was said to have tap-danced down the beautiful stairs).
