Normans Make All-League Lacrosse Squad

Dillan Watts is a first-team selection and Judy Naziri is a second team selection.

The Bay League was dominated by South Bay schools this spring, but two Beverly Hills High girls have made the All-League team.

Making the first team is Normans sophomore Dillan Watts, who racked up 41 goals, seven assists and 40 ground balls in 17 games. Beverly Hills finished fifth out of seven teams in the Bay League and 5-12 overall.

Watts was named Player of the Year for BHHS.

"Dillan is the total package," Coach Kate Marks said. "She has speed, agility, field sense and can not only catch the ball in mid-air, but take it to the hole in five seconds. She is a real athlete and is respected by her team, coaches and opponents."

Normans senior captain Judy Naziri is on the second team. She scored 23 goals with one assist and 21 ground balls.
