Little League Softball Team Wins Championship
The 9- and 10-year-olds capture the first ever district title in Beverly Hills softball history.
A recently made history by winning the District 25 championship, becoming the first girls softball team of any age to accomplish this.
The all-star team comprised of 9- and 10-year-olds defeated West Los Angeles Little League 9-8 in extra innings on June 27.
The team advances to the Section 4 All Star Tournament and face Westchester-Del Rey Little League today.

Beverly Hills Little League has offered softball and baseball programs since 1952 for players ages 4 1/2-16, according to the league's website.
