Ride the Pacific Electric with Better Bike

Join Better Bike for a transit-themed ride around Beverly Hills. We will look at the old Pacific Electric rail lines that threaded through our business district adjacent to today’s Civic Center.

Last operated in 1954, the rail right-of-way is still largely intact (sans rails). We’ll ride along the old lines, talk about transportation policy, and look ahead to a bike network in BH - even a Rails-to-Trails conversion for parts of the PE that served the city well for decades. We’ll meet at Peets Coffee and then we’re off!
