BHHS Track Heads to Mt. SAC Relays

The high school division of the 53rd annual Mt. SAC Relays begins Friday and continues Saturday at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif.. Beverly Hills High track and field athletes are entered in eight individual events and nine relays.  

BHHS Girls Schedule:

On Friday at 5:50 p.m., Ashley Bootesaz, Sydney Gray, Brianna Simmons and Lily Ting will run in the 4 x 800 invitational relay.

At 6:15 p.m., Simmons will compete in the invitational 1,600-meter race.  

On Saturday at 10 a.m., Vanessa Torres, Chelsea Simmons, Allison Wolff and Gray will run in Section 4 of the 4 x 100 relay open division. Later that day the same Norman foursome will race in the 1600-meter sprint medley invitational at 4:11 p.m. and in Section 2 of the 4 x 200 seeded relay at 6:35 p.m.

At 8:30 p.m., Torres, Gray, Wolff and Brianna Simmons will race in Section 1 of the open division 4 x 400 relay.

On Saturday at 2:45 p.m., Gray will run the invitational 800-meter race.

At 2:50 p.m., Ting will run the 800-meter seeded race.

BHHS Boys Schedule:

On Friday at 6 p.m., Julian Jackson will compete in the open shot put division.

At 6:05 p.m., Chanan Batra, Nicky Harper, Alex Rohani and Josh Galen will compete in the invitational 4 x 800 relay. 

On Saturday at 11 a.m., Willie Green will compete in the seeded high jump event.

At 1:31 p.m., Rohani will run in the seeded 400-meter dash and at 5:27 p.m. he will compete in the 800-meter seeded race.

At 2:01 p.m., the foursome of Ariel Nasib, Mario Conti, Cameron Countryman and Rohani will race in the 4 x 100 seeded relay.

At 5:27 p.m., Countryman will run in the invitational 200-meter dash.

At 6:15 p.m., Countryman, Nasib, Frank Brown and Joel Steinberg will compete in the 4 x 200 seeded relay.

At 7:40 p.m., Batra, Conti, Countryman and Rohani will run in the invitational 4 x 400 relay.
