BHHS Tennis Toppled by Palisades

The Normans drop their home opener 14-4 and remain winless.

It will be an this year for the Beverly Hills High girls tennis team, which dropped their third straight non-league match Thursday to Palisades of the Los Angeles City Section.

"All the other teams seem to be down this year... the problem is that we are too," head coach Mike Margolin said. "If we had the lineup I'd expected, we would have a good chance to win our division."

The Normans' roster shrunk from 15 players over the summer to 10 when the season started. Thus far, the squad has suffered a 12-6 loss at Brentwood, a 16-2 loss at Marlborough and Thursday's 14-4 home loss to Palisades—a team the Normans beat last fall.
