Former USC Trojan Jarvis Turner will replace Derek Boldon as head coach.
Beverly Hills High School has named Jarvis Turner as their next boys varsity basketball coach, replacing Derek Boldon.
Turner, a former USC basketball player, spent the last three seasons coaching at Birmingham High School in Van Nuys. During the 2009-10 season, he led the Patriots to a 15-12 overall record and a second round appearance in the CIF City Section playoffs. Birmingham finished the season tied for third place in the West Valley League with a 4-6 league record.
Boldon resigned as head coach at Beverly following the 2009-10 season. In two years as the Normans head coach, Boldon had a 17-37 record, including a 13-15 record last season with a 72-67 loss to Righetti High School of Santa Maria in the first round of the CIF Southern Section playoffs.
