BH Adult Sports Program Launching Basketball, Flag Football

The following is a press release from the City of Beverly Hills.

Get your teams together! The City of Beverly Hills Community Services Department’s Adult Sports Program is now registering teams for the fall 2012 season. Priority registration is given to Beverly Hills residents or Beverly Hills business teams comprising 50 percent or more of the team roster.

The flag football league is for adult teams and is recreational in nature. The season consists of eight teams playing seven games, including single elimination playoffs. All games are played at on Sundays beginning Sept. 9 at 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm. League fees are $440 for Beverly Hills resident teams, $470 for Beverly Hills business teams and $550 for non-resident teams, with an additional $40 per game for referee fees.

The adult basketball league plays Monday—Thursday evenings at . Skill levels range from very competitive to recreational. The basketball season consists of 10 regular season games plus single elimination playoffs for the top four teams in each league. League fees are $340 for Beverly Hills resident teams, $380 for Beverly Hills business teams and $425 for non-resident teams, with an additional $30 per game for referee fees.
