Some of Beverly's finest are skipping summertime at the beach for a lesson in the classroom. Others are participating in community service programs or internships. Patch caught up with these standout Normans to talk about their plans. We'll be featuring new students throughout the summer months.
Incoming senior Jason Sleisenger, 17, is attending a month-long acting program hosted by New York University at Trinity College in Dublin.
"I actually applied for a program in New York," Sleisenger said. "But after mentioning that I liked to travel, the head of summer programs felt that I would be a perfect fit for their program in Ireland."
Even though he originally wanted to spend the summer in New York City, Sleisenger welcomes his change of plans.

"I feel that learning more about the art of theater, especially in a place that is historically renowned for famous actors and playwrights like Oscar Wilde and Colin Farrell, will be such an amazing experience," he said.
