Goldberg, Margo and Hall Lead in Latest Vote Tally

The Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk has updated the vote tally for the Nov. 8 school board election.

An updated vote count has been posted by the Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, along with a press release from the office with the latest tally of write-in votes.

Brian Goldberg, Noah Margo and Lewis Hall are poised to take the three available seats on the Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education. Margo ran as a write-in candidate.

The latest count is as follows:

Brian Goldberg—2,217 votes

Noah Margo—1,204 votes

Lewis Hall—978 votes

Frances Bilak—917 votes

Andy Licht—760 votes

Andy Licht of the race before election day, though not in time to get his name removed from the ballot.

Under California law, officials have 28 days following an election to conduct a canvass of vote-by-mail, provisional, damaged and write-in ballots. According to the aforementioned Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk press release, the office is in the semifinal stages of the official canvas of BHUSD's Nov. 8 school board election.
