BHUSD Launches Centennial Commemorative Stamp Design Contest

The Beverly Hills Unified School District launched a centennial commemorative stamp design contest as the city prepares to celebrate its 100 years in early 2014.

Participation to design a stamp is open to Beverly Hills residents of all ages and students in good standing currently attending the school district. Participants must submit original artwork excluding photography, in the appropriate division and theme.

Participant Divisions                             Stamp Themes
Kindergarten-5th grade (Ages 4 to 11)    The Beverly Hills Shield
6th-8th grade (Ages 11-14)                   The Beverly Hills Trolley
9th-12th grade (Ages 14 to 18)          The Beverly Hills Fountain
Citizens of all ages                              The Beverly Hills City Hall
Professional Artists      Wallis Annenberg Performing Arts Center

All submissions are due Jan. 28, 2014.
