Girls Volleyball

The girls volleyball team had a challenging season in 2012 adapting to both a new coaching style as well as a difficult preseason schedule. Despite the difficulties the team is optimistic for the future. The team struggled early on, but improved tremendously from day one until the season's end. With strong performances led by returning varsity players, junior, Natasha Kashani (1st team all league), juniors Alex Sams and Liat Hackman, along with freshman libero, Sara Neiman, the team earned third place in the Ocean League and was on their way to CIF Playoffs. The team fought very hard in their first round CIF match by taking it to four games but not being able to pull out the win. With much of the team returning, including setter Evan Bennett and front player Daisy Abrams, they look forward to having a stronger season next year.
