Beverly Hills High School Principal Carter Paysinger has filed a lawsuit against the Beverly Hills Unified School District, alleging the school board wants him out because he's African-American, reports TMZ.

In his lawsuit, Paysinger alleges that school board member told him, "One of the problems that you have is that you don't look like what a principal of Beverly Hills High School should look like."

However, BHUSD VP Brian Goldberg told The Courier that Paysinger's lawsuit is a publicity stunt "to drum up support for the upcoming book release that Mr. Paysinger co-wrote with (former Boardmember) Mr. [Steven] Fenton.”

Paysinger, an alum of Beverly Hills High himself (class of '74), was first appointed interim principal in 2010-11. His lawsuit says the school board is trying to squeeze out all minorities, TMZ reports.
