RIP Roxbury Park Community Center

The demolition of the Roxbury Park Community Center is complete.
I was there to take pictures and video.
They let me in to film the end of a Beverly Hills icon.
It was a sad ending, but there will be a better tomorrow.
The new building promises to be great.
Still, the old one holds many decades of memories for the people of Beverly Hills.
Our city won't quite be the same.
Brick by brick, I watched it go.
As each part of the building hit the ground, it was a reminder that nothing lasts forever.
I loved the center.
Many friends were made in that place.
Countless memories that will last a lifetime.
Now, it is time to move on.
However, the center will never be completely gone.
I saved the first letter R from the front of the building before it came down.
History is in my hands.
RIP Roxbury Park Community Center.
