Beverly Hills Firm Lists Toluca Lake Tudor by Famed Architect to the Stars
Wanna own a piece of Hollywood history? It was built in 1928 for screenwriter Gladys Lehman, one of the founders of the Screenwriters Guild. It could be yours for only $8 million.
A Toluca Lake home built in 1928 -- designed by famed architect Paul Williams and once owned by Henry "The Fonz" Winkler -- has been listed for $8 million, a Beverly Hills real estate firm announced today.
The Tudor revival estate, twice featured in Architectural Digest, was built for screenwriter Gladys Lehman, one of the founders of the Screenwriters Guild and the Motion Picture Relief Fund.
In the 1980s, the house, featuring leaded windows, dark wood flooring, intricate molding and custom wall inlays, was owned by Winkler of "Happy Days" fame.
