Carolwood Estate Once Owned by Walt Disney Sells for $75 Mil

It's the fourth largest home sale of the year in the U.S.

The Holmby Hills' Carolwood estate once owned by Walt Disney recently sold for $74 million, the Wall Street Journal reported

Gabriel Brener, co-owner of the Houston Dynamo soccer club, purchased the directly from the Disney Estate in the late 1990s for a measly $8.5 million, the Journal reported.

It first went back on the market for $90 million but sold for $74 million. Zillow reports this is the fourth biggest home sale of the year in the U.S. (This Beverly Hills home sold earlier this year was No. 3 and the only other local property on the list.)

The home was offered as an exclusive, off-market listing by The Agency

The 35,000-square-foot home on four acres features eight bedrooms and a whopping 17 bathrooms, according to Zillow.
