Register to Vote by Midnight Oct. 22, Find Your Polling Place

Beverly Hills voters who want to participate in the Nov. 6 election have only a few days left to register.

Californians must register to vote by Oct. 22 if they want to cast a ballot in the Nov. 6 election.

Voter registration applications must be submitted by midnight 15 days before the election. The official California voter registration application is at RegisterToVote.ca.gov. Paper applications are available at post offices, public libraries and many government offices. 

Online applications must be submitted by midnight on the Oct. 22 deadline. Applications submitted online will be time-stamped. Postmarks are used to verify the timely submission of paper applications.

California voters are not required to show identification before casting ballots. It is recommended that first-time voters bring identification to the polls. Acceptable forms of identification include: driver license or state-issued ID card, passport, credit or debit card, employee ID card, military ID and student ID.
