Beverly Hills Chamber executive director Alexander Stettinski told us he is particularly excited about the salons that will follow speakers' formal remarks.

"The salons will allow a more intimate discussion," he said. "Attendees can follow an executive into a smaller area and ask questions and network among themselves."

Settinski said the event is inspired, in part, by the TED conferences that have been having such an impact on American culture, though the salons set it apart.

He said hopes to make the event an annual one.

Tickets are $200 for general admission, $150 for Chamber members.

Beverly Hills Patch readers can attend for just $100 by signing up at the Chamber website using the PATCHBH promo code.
