City Council Approves Rose Parade Centennial Float Design

The float features the theme "Dreams Come True" and includes many classic Beverly Hills images.

The Beverly Hills City Council approved the design for Beverly Hills Centennial Float at the Oct. 15 meeting.

The float, with the theme “Dreams Come True” will be created by Phoenix Design and includes many classic Beverly Hills images such as the iconic shield, the Beverly Hills sign and City Hall. 

The float is part of the City’s Centennial celebration, which officially kicks off on Jan. 28, 2014, the 100th anniversary of the city's incorporation.

The city has a long history of floats in the Rose Parade going back more than 80 years. For information on centennial events and activities, go to www.beverlyhills.org/centennial.
