Witnesses Save Woman From Attacker Outside Runyon Canyon
An attempted rape near the popular Hollywood Hills park in broad daylight had neighbors stunned, reports ABC7.
A 21-year-old man who grabbed and groped a woman near Runyon Canyon Park was behind bars Sunday.
The hiking area is a popular destination for many locals as it allows off-leash dog walking.
When police arrived at about 8 a.m. Saturday after the crime was reported, Dejan Sebastian was being held on Fuller Avenue near the park, north of Franklin Avenue, by some people who saw the incident, ABC7 reported.

"He grabbed her and sort of threw her to the ground and then tried to actually take off her pants," witness Bryce Bonn told Channel 7.
Sebastian was locked up in lieu of $100,000 bail. He faces a felony charge of assault with an intent to commit rape, ABC7 reported.

The woman was walking with her dog when the attack happened. She declined medical attention.
