Winds Leave Beverly Hills Customers Without Power

The winds are expected to die down on Tuesday.

Southern California Edison customers in Beverly Hills were among those without power Monday as high winds ripped through the area.

As of 9 p.m. Monday, SCE reported 979 customers remained without power in the city.

About 13,000 customers in a variety of communities experienced the outages. Most of them saw it returned by about 9 p.m. Monday night.
