Whitney Houston's Ex-Husband Arrested Monday
Bobby Brown was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Singer Bobby Brown, whose ex-wife Whitney Houston , was arrested in Tarzana, Calif. Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Brown, 43, was arrested at about 12:20 p.m. at Victory Boulevard and Wilbur Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Harris. He was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and was being held at the Van Nuys jail, Harris said. Brown was pulled over for allegedly talking on a cell phone.
According to TMZ, Brown has a DUI conviction on his record stemming from an arrest in Georgia in 1996. He pleaded guilty and served eight days in jail.

Brown was married to Houston from 1992-2007. The couple reportedly battled drug and alcohol addictions during their time together. They had one child, daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was born in 1993.
The Los Angeles County coroner's office released Houston's autopsy results March 22, in which it stated that the was "drowning" and the "effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use."
