VIDEO: Bomb Squad Robot Exits Alley After Beverly Hills Explosion

The sheriff's department is called to the golden triangle shopping district Thursday morning to destroy a suspicious package.

As a precaution, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department bomb squad blew up a briefcase left unattended in a Beverly Hills office building. The case is rumored to have contained a movie script. The explosion occurred in an alleyway between North Rodeo Drive and North Camden Drive at Little Santa Monica Boulevard. Here's a video of the bomb squad robot exiting the alley.
