By City News Service

A vehicle crashed into a building in the 8700 block of Gregory Way Thursday afternoon, near the Beverly Hills border in the Pico-Robertson area, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One ambulance transported to an area hospital, but no details are available on the number of accident victims or the extent of the injuries, but Humphrey noted the ambulance traveled with its sirens off, indicating the victim's injuries were not life threatening.

The incident was first reported at 4:47 p.m. at the corner of Gregory Way and Robertson Boulevard. Humphrey reported the representatives from the Department of Building and Safety were en route to assess the damage, given concern for the structural integrity of the damaged building.

The LAPD West Traffic Division is handling the accident investigation, Humphrey added.
