The freeway from the San Fernando Valley into the Westside and LAX areas will close again tonight for construction.
The southbound San Diego (405) Freeway is to be closed into Sepulveda Pass, with lane closures starting at 11 p.m. tonight and all lanes blocked by 2 a.m. Sunday. Lanes are to reopen at about 7 a.m. Sunday.
Northbound traffic will not be affected.
The southbound closure will extend from the Ventura (101) Freeway through to Getty Center Drive. Sepulveda Boulevard parallels the freeway and is the posted detour, but heavy traffic can be expected, Metro officials warned.
